This is a spectacular vintage 1950s Best & Co Coat! This 50s black swing coat is made of pure Silk Satin! This fancy silk overcoat is from the late 50s early 60s. It has a classic oversized full sweep Cut! This 50 black Opera Coat has Three quarter Sleeves, and is fully lined in the most supple cream 100% silk satin!!

This authentic vintage coat is cut in the grand "swing" style. It has two side pockets, a large shawl collar, and was made with no closures. So classic!

CONDITION: Very good. It appears the the silk has been starched and is stiff to the touch, which makes it keep it's beautiful shape. There is one hole (with fading around it) on the crease of the right sleeve on the front of arm. (please see last photo). There are also small brown stains scattered throughout the inside of the coat on the Ivory silk lining. Dry cleaning left to buyer.
