DESIGNER Faux LEOPARD Print Coat by Dan MILLSTEIN c1950s/1960s.

This is an authentic vintage leopard coat by Dan Millstein (who made the suit Marilyn Monroe married Joe DiMaggio in)!!! This Leopard print coat was made in the late 1950s to early 1960s. This faux fur trapeze swing Coat is super long with bracelet length sleeves, three huge textured black buttons down the front, and two side slit pockets.

CONDITION: Excellent! Both fur and Satin are in excellent condition. If looking close, there are a few pinholes and small streaks near the hem of the lining, and a tiny hole below the pocket on the fur.

Dan Millstein was a New York coat and suit maker of the 1950s and 1960s. Millstein started under the label "Balenciaga Import Adaption" in the early 1950s.Calvin Klein got his start at Millstein in 1962 as a sketch artist.
