Welcome! I am Raina Lee Scott, the owner, curator and sole buyer for Posies for Lulu Vintage. I grew up in Los Angeles in the early 70s to a hippie family who had "tuned in, turned on, and dropped out of society", and went to India in 1969 to heed their spiritual calling. My mother was a seamstress for rock bands in Hollywood in the mid 60s and my father was an artist, potter and a surfer. Those days of Flower Children and Rock 'n Rollers, bright colors and Indian tapestries always stuck with me and inspired me to study vintage fashion.
I have been collecting vintage clothing now for over 35 years, and finally found my calling when I opened Posies for Lulu Vintage in 2009 by selling off my own personal vintage collection on Etsy. I then opened my beautiful brick and mortar in Downtown Asheville in 2019 to complete my dream of bring fine curated vintage to all who come.
I love styling people and finding them a super special and unique one of a kind vintage outfit that they will cherish for years to come. Please come by when you are in Asheville!
