This is a stunning vintage 1960s large velvet burnout mod handbag! The colors are a purple-ish black, brown and gold. It is very deep and spacious with a zipper pocket inside. It was made by Morris Moskowitz between the late 50s early 60s.
Morris Moskowitz began the MM brand in the early 50s and believed in creating bags with compelling fabrics to “command the shape of the bag”. This can truly be seen in the workmanship of this patterned velvet mod handbag.
