1970s Zodiac Vintage Indian Cotton Gauze Dress,70s Boho Floral India Block Print Caftan, Hippie Peasant Dress w/ Gold Paint & Wooden Buttons

Effortlessly elevate your look in this super lightweight semi-sheer cotton gauze blockprint Indian peasant dress! The amount of precious detail in this dress is incredible. This vintage Zodiac hippie dress made in India has a radiant block print in bright orchid, raspberry, and maroon tones with beautiful metallic gold painted details.

This vintage 1970s dress made in India has a unique cheongsam style bust and neckline with precious round wooden ball buttons, which are also featured on the sleeve cuffs. Below the wooden beads on the neckline, there is a row of hook and eye closures extending vertically below for extra opening room for dressing. There is also a spare wooden button sewn onto the inside in case you ever need a replacement!

The chest and back panel are quilted and lined, unlike the rest of the dress, except for the bottom trim panel. There is also a beautiful merlot satin trim lining the chest panel, sleeve & bottom panels. The sleeve cuffs, although the same block print as the bottom trim panel, are still unlined so the entire sleeve is lightweight and breezy.

Although this dress features puff sleeves and a flowy skirt, the chest panel is small making it only suitable for a smaller frame with narrower shoulders, please see measurements below.

Condition: Very Good! The only minor flaw to be found is a very small area of the fabric that is slightly wornout near the button hole on one of the sleeve cuffs, but does not affect the function of the buttonhole, and is lined so there is no gap in the fabric.
